hey guys just wondering how much a manual conversion for a supra 2jzTT would cost me any ideas??? even what price im looking at just for the gear not installed

Egay sell supra 6speeds for about $4000, but I'm pretty sure that's in the states...

There's a guy on performanceforums.com selling a complete conversion kit with twin plate clutch and short shifter for 5K from memory. The dudes under 2rismo on there, he's name is Adrian.

Or go a R145 box (no where near as strong as a gertrag) Can get this hooked up with parts for 2.5K-3k

but you get what you pay for.

this thread was started a year ago :P

lol, the W58 was made to handle a standard 2L single turbo 6 cylinder. it is not suitable for a car with double the torque and double the power.

for anyone interested, full manual conversions of the V161 6 speed Getrag box are still going for 5-7g's, for JZA80's. The V161 can still be bought new from Japan as well, but they cost a mint.
